The Sherpa culture is remarkable, and we embrace it at every opportunity. Many trekking companies employ non-Sherpas for their Everest region trips, and as a result, their trekkers miss out on this very important aspect of the Nepal experience. For us, we have long-established contacts with the Sherpa people, ensuring doors are opened to us, and every opportunity is available to experience Sherpa life. All our Sherpa guides have excellent English speaking skills and are from the village of Khumjung which is the focus of our community work; at present, earthquake recovery.
